Question regarding PCie speeds and Nvme SSD

Hello Everyone. First time poster here. Pardon my ignorance but I'm really comfused in this matter and I'm looking for a simple answer. Im looking to get the 5800x3D I have 2 Nvme ssd's, the 2TB samsung 980 Pro ,1TB Samsung 970 and PCIE USB hub. Will I be able to run the 980 PRO at full gen 4 speed and the 970 EVO at full gen 3 speed with the B550 or should I go with the x570 ?
