Best PC speakers in 2022.

Jul 26, 2022
The best PC speakers are about enhancing your gaming moments with bombastic audio while you slay another dragon in Elden Ring(opens in new tab) or want to appreciate the roar of your engine in F1 22(opens in new tab). While the best gaming headsets(opens in new tab) will still give you a more intimate audio experience, the best gaming speakers are more about filling your room with the sounds of a well-earned victory or grueling defeat.

When deciding on the best PC speakers to jam on your desk, you first need to figure out how much space you have to spare. That'll factor quite largely into the decision-making process, and if you have the space under your desk should go for the typical 2.1, left/right speaker setup with a sub-woofer tucked under your desk.

Alternatively, PC soundbars have made a loud come back and provide an excellent depth of sound, along with positional audio while finding a place neatly tucked under your monitor. Some even come with a sub-woofer for providing some rump-shaking bass. Even companies like Razer have gotten into the PC soundbar game(opens in new tab).

Be warned, though; good speakers can cost a lot of money. Thankfully, I earmarked a couple of decent budget options during my testing, all the recommendations from which you'll find below.

I couldn't recommend any computer speakers any more than these, and that's because these ended up being my long-time speakers at my desk at home. The G560s not only sound great, but they also look great too. It's ideal if you want to ditch the gaming headset for a while and play it fast and loose with your volume dial.
